You can visit our websites without disclosing personal information. We only process your personal data when you take up contact with us, subscribe to the newsletter, order publications from us or if it is necessary for the execution or performance of the contract. Depending on the nature of the request, we will process data that has been provided voluntarily such as names, addresses, telephone numbers, email addresses, bank details and other voluntarily provided information as far as it is necessary to do so in order to process your request.

We will use your data solely for the purpose for which you provided it to us, namely to answer your questions, provide you with information regarding the gallery’s artists and publications and for contractual performance. We guarantee that we will not transfer your data to third parties for commercial purposes. Your data will only be given to third parties for non-commercial purposes if we are legally obliged to do so, you have consented to it or if it is necessary for the execution or fulfilment of the contract. In order to best protect your data this website uses SSL encryption for the sake of security and to protect the transfer of sensitive content. When SSL encryption is enabled, the data you provide us can’t be read by third parties.

Data Security

We use technical and operational safeguards to protect your data against accidental or intentional manipulation, loss, destruction or access by unauthorised parties. Our security measures are regularly reviewed and adapted to technological progress. All of our employees have been bound to confidentiality in writing and have signed privacy policies.


Newsletter

Through our newsletter we inform you about ourselves and our exhibitions as well as the gallery’s activities. If you subscribe to our newsletter we save your email address, as well as your name, surname, institution and address as long as you voluntarily provided us with these, and, with your consent, will only use it so send out the newsletter. When you register, we further save the computer’s internet service provider’s (isp’s) IP address as well as the time and date of registration. The collection of this data is necessary for us to be able to trace any potential abuse of the email address, thereby aiding our legal protection.

We use MailChimp, offered by The Rocket Science Group LLC and based in the USA, to send out our newsletters. From a legal viewpoint, the use of MailChimp constitutes data processing in a third country. We chose MailChimp because The Rocket Science Group, LLC has a valid EU-Privacy-Shield-Certification and thereby ensures that the standard of protection of the data stored in the US is increased to comply with EU standards. We have chosen the most privacy-friendly settings available on MailChimp to send out our newsletters and have signed a processing contract with MailChimp to help protect your data.

Your consent to the storing of data, email address as well as their use for the purpose of sending out the newsletter, can be revoked at any time. To do this, please send a brief email to info@jahnundjahn.com. Each newsletter also contains a link to unsubscribe from receiving further information.


Cookies

On our website we use some “cookies” in order to make our services more user-friendly, effective and secure. The services we offer over Facebook, Instagram and Artsy fall under the respective platform’s privacy policies and we hold no direct responsibility for how they process data. Please note that we do not have knowledge surrounding the content or use of the data transferred through the social networks and service providers and are not able to control these.
